And Her Name is...

Oh remember when I asked, what gift that you desire,
I can’t think of anything so I just made this rhyme,
If you don’t like it, it’s ok, let’s just burn it in the fire,
But tell me if you do, so I know I didn’t waste time.

I’ll try to make this as best as I can,
So please read this ‘til it ends,
And if you’re wondering why all of this I’ve done,
It’s 'cause you’ve turned eighteen and you’re my friend.

My reasons are simple but let’s just put it that way,
Again I would like to greet you a HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
Anyway I’ll be sweet but won’t be that romantic as possible,
So somehow when you’re with me you may not feel so uncomfortable.

I hope that this may not sound deceiving,
Or somewhat may sound comical,
'Cause this is for a girl who’s quite stunning,
And yes, she is also very wonderful.

Many boys wish to be with you,
Many girls hope to be just like you,
I know the lines are a little bit cliché,
But they’re part of your life every day.

I was wondering if I could sit next to you and watch you smile,
It’s okay if I can’t I will just close both of my eyes,
And I’ll be able to see it even from the 1000th mile,
Please do not think that I am just telling stupid lies.

I remember every time that you will crack a joke,
And people won’t laugh and there’s silence like they’ve been choked,
But for me the way you deliver them is with so much cuteness,
Even how corny it was I’ll laugh and break the muteness.

By the way, the glow of your eyes,
Are enough to light up all of the skies,
Even if there are countless of stars at night,
They won’t be noticed if your there shining so bright.

And if there’ll be times that you’ll feel alone,
Just call me, and I’ll be there in a tone,
I told you I will be sweet,
But do I have a chance if I overdo it?

Well I think it’s time to end this poem,
If it’s not enough, I’ll send you more on your phone,
'Cause I got plenty, just tell me, alright?
But for now I guess it’s time to just say good night!
