My Poison

You’re my poison and my antidote,
As every beat produces pain,
All of my words, you might want to take note,
‘Cause I’ll spit them out under a pouring rain.

Now take a seat, and listen for a while,
You may not want to, but I’ll carry on anyway,
First, I would like to comment about that smile,
Oh! It’s what completes my every day.

You may have heard this a million of times before,
But I get stunned by your cunning eyes,
And your voice, your laughter that I adore,
Is an angelic chorus straight from paradise.

I’ll rival a god, if he’ll attempt to charm you,
I’ll do what I have to, so you’ll fall to be mine,
‘Cause a beauty like yours only comes in a very few,
Just show me that I have a chance, please give me a sign.

I know this may sound cliché, but I’m dying inside,
I can’t sleep, I can’t eat, I can’t focus on anything,
‘Cause this feeling, I’m not sure if I should show or hide,
It’s driving me crazy, just because you’re really amazing.

Are you still covering your ears, and your heart?
Are you still planning to keep me standing outside the door?
Am I destined to be left out in the dark?
Or are you going to take me away from the storm’s core?

I know, this may be just phony words for you,
And I am just another comic in line,
But this night sings all that is true,
And dreams for our hearts to intertwine.

This could be our fairytale, just be my princess,
I’ll take the role of your prince, whatever is the risk,
Just keep close to me and feel the pounding in my chest,
We’ll watch the days go down and we’ll end them with a kiss.
